Living in a high rise comes with its pros and cons. Overall, we really love where we live, but it can be hard to keep the kids from going crazy inside our apartment for hours. Most Sundays we try to at least get outside to walk around and to let the kids play since we usually end up feeling pretty cooped up by the end of the day. One Sunday evening, we went out on a family bike ride and wound up at a park along the river. It made for a nice pit stop along our ride.
