Stylin'!

My sister-in-law is getting married this weekend, and they got him a tux to wear at the wedding.  We decided to try it out this past weekend, and he is a cutite!  It comes with a jacket and a vest, but I will post some more pictures after the wedding with him all dressed up.

He was totally spacing while I took these

March is here!

It is crazy how fast time is flying by this semester! On Monday, I registered for my last online classes before graduation.  Seeing "0" credits remaining before graduation is a lovely thing indeed!  This semester has been intense, but there is light up ahead!

Deagan has a double ear infection which has presented us with one cranky baby, but we are surviving.  He also got 8 new teeth!  Crazy!  He only had 7 for so long, and then all at once they were coming through!  I am excited though because he can chew things a lot better with molers now. Besides him being sick and teething, he is a joy to have!  He learns new words everyday and makes us laugh everyday.  He is now almost 18 months.  I guess it is time for a new baby!;)

Greg got accepted to another grad school this past week, American in D.C.  It isn't his top choice, but we will probably take a peek while we are there at the end of this month.  I think that he is more than ready to start school again!

I am taking a lot of classes about parenting this semester which has really been a blessing.  I am learning all these new things that I feel are really helping me as a parent, but there comes those times when I have no idea what to do with Deagan or the situation.  I am so worried that I am going to screw him up for life!  We are having a struggle with him eating lately.  He has been sick, so that probably plays in to it, but he has always been a picky eater.  In one of my classes we watched a video where a little girl wouldn't eat and they linked it back to the relationship that she had with her mom.  So of course now I am worried about the kind of relationship that Deagan and I have.  Any tips on how to get a picky eater to eat?

Sorry for long absence, but I hope you all enjoy the lovely pictures!

Feeding the Ducks

With the weather being as nice as it has been lately, we decided to take it outside to change it up a bit!  We had never taken Deagan to feed the ducks yet, and with our time coming to an end in Rexburg we decided that it was time.
Deagan has been really sick lately, so I think that he will have a lot more fun with this after he isn't feeling so crummy.  He has been obsessed with birds lately though, so I think that regardless of being sick he had a good time!
I was a little freaked out because those birds are not afraid of humans one bit!  They came right up to us, and I had this horrible image of them attacking Deagan.  Deagan must have been imaging something much more pleasant because he wanted to touch them.

A little hesitant to approach the birds at first. It is always nice to have dad's hand to hold when scared.
Mesmerized by the birds

These birds are so brave!
A little smile to show the excitement!

Wearing Mommy's Shirt

I was doing Laundry the other day, and Deagan decided to help by putting on one of my shirts.  It is better to do that so it doesn't get wrinkled I guess!

Trying to figure out how to get it off.
Just having fun!
What's down there?
When wearing an adult shirt one must act like an adult.
Deagan the ghost!

Back Pack

In preparation for our trip out east at the end of this month, we bought a baby back pack carrier, or whatever you call it.  We love it!  We thought this would be nice to have as we are trying to get around the airport, sight seeing, and what not.  It was really nice the other day, so we decided to test it out.  I think that it passed the test for Deagan too!

Mommy's turn

Daddy's turn!

Cute PJ's

Greg dressed him.  The End.

Snow Boots

He loves to play in the shoe rack that we have in our living room, and he decided that these would be a good fit for him.
Pretty cute!
